PUBLIC BODY and Heartbreak Hill Running Company are teaming up again for a fantastic fall event! Join Chad Flahive, HHRCs Dan Fitzgerald and a guest team of some of Boston's hottest trainers as they take you through an energizing workout designed to make you sweat...and smile

***Oh, so here's the deal....All we ask is that you bring a small toy or "prize" as your "admission" to the workout. After the workout, Public Body representatives will deliver the toys to Boston Children's Hospital as prizes for kids who must complete an MRI in order to determine their path for treatment.

OPTION A: PUBLIC BODY Burn! Join Chad for a high intensity total body strength workout interspersed with brief cardio intervals around the island

One day. One Island. Eight Stellar Workouts, Five of Boston's hottest fitness professionals, an incredible community, and the Boston skyline! That is an outrageous day of fitness!

Join PUBLIC BODY trainers Chad Flahive, Maryanne Blake and Ian Kilpatrick, Heartbreak Hill Running Company's running coach Dan Fitzgerald and Equinox yoga instructor of the year Ian Lemieux for this unique day of fitness with breathtaking views of Boston from beautiful Spectacle Island. Fitness programming including coached running, bootcamp and yoga classes will run simultaneously between 11 and 2.

Meet us a the Boston Harbor Islands Welcome Center on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to pick up your tickets. Tickets will be available for pick up starting at 9:00 am. Guests can choose between the 9:30, 10:15 or 10:30 am ferries to Spectacle Island. Guests must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to ferry departure. Late comers may forefeit their tickets.

Ferries depart from Spectacle at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:00 pm. Return trips will be first come, first serve (but don't fret, no one gets left on the island!)

So I'm guessing....just guessing that you are SO over this winter and looking for spring to come. Well guess what, we're headed BACK TO PTOWN!!! Work Hard Play Hard Weekend will sell out very quickly! Imagine yourself out of this bitter cold, feeling the sand between your toes, or doing the walk of shame thinking "sh**, I have a workout in a half hour!"

That can all be yours! WORK HARD, PLAY HARD WEEKEND IS BACK with Public Body's Chad Flahive and special guest trainer Maryanne Blake. They'll take you through a mercilessly awesome weekend of serious fitness sprinkled with some debauchery in beautiful Provincetown, MA.

Three days in PTown, and we promise your workouts will never be the same! You'll be pounding the beach, blazing through bike trails, sweating under the club lights, stretching poolside and relaxing a bit by the bright blue sea!

Who else could show such a good time? No one! So join us for this weekend, push yourself to full fitness ecstasy, and come back with skills that will change your workouts for the summer!

*5:30 Pm   Fast ferry departs from 200 Seaport Blvd at World Trade Center Pier (next to former Anthony’s Pier 4.) Meet Chad at Bay State Cruise Company ticket booth starting at 5 PM to retrieve your tickets. 

*7:30 Pm   Fast ferry arrives at Provincetown. Attendees check-into their respective hotels. 

*8:00 Pm Mussel Beach Health Club

*8:15 Pm Mussel Beach Health Club                                                                                         “Ease in Slowly” 

We’re in for a great weekend. Even our hardest workouts will be fun (ish.) However, this interactive session and light workout is designed to improve form, flexibility and efficiency and teach you how to take care of your body when you are a serious fitness fan.

 “Ride and Ripped”  

(bike rental for this event is included)

We’ll embark on the 10 mile bicycle trails at the Cape Cod National Seashore that run through the dunes and past the beaches at the tip of Cape Cod.  We will cycle past Herring Cove Beach, through Beech Forest, to the beach, where participants will seat and sculpt before returning onto the loop, past Race Point Beach and back to the Herring Cove for their final fitness adventure.

“Dirty Thirty”

A 30 minute upper body workout to challenge strength, stamina and endurance, all set to the crashing waves of the PTown coast. BYOB… bring your own body, and we’ll provide the rest. 

“Core Quickie”

Grab a partner for this fast-paced, core workout utilizing partner exercises and individual challenges….and a delicious stretch before we send you on your way to enjoy the town for a bit!

Central House at The Crown  Recovery Dinner (included with registration) Arrive at the Central House for a delicious spread of well-earned appetizers followed by a   carefully selected menu of local, organic foods to help you recobver from your day! 

 Morning Run  Meet @ The Crown and Anchor

Get your body ready for your day. Jog or run through town and down to the beach as you take in the sights of Ptown (Including some “walk of shamers”) 

“Club Circuit” @ The Paramount Nightclub

Join Chad for a one hour strength and conditioning circuit under the lights and pulsating sounds of the Paramount Night Club.

 "Double Dare on the Beach" @ Crown and Anchor

This workout is no joke, but it will be fun. Join your trainers on the beach for crazy drills to challenge all aspects of fitness, from speed, to agility, to strength and endurance all disguised in a team competition. You might get wet!

Poolside @ Crown and Anchor Recovery  yoga session by the pool followed by lunch (Included)

After the workout, Public Body representatives will deliver the food donations to Rosie's Place food pantry so that others who are less fortunate can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday a bit more.

Summer Island Fitness Frenzy: the Ultimate Fitness Bootcamp

One day. One Island. Eight Stellar Workouts, Five of Boston's hottest fitness professionals, an incredible community, and the Boston skyline! That is an outrageous day of fitness! 

Join PUBLIC BODY trainers Chad Flahive, Maryanne Blake and Ian Kilpatrick, Heartbreak Hill Running Company's running coach Dan Fitzgerald and Equinox yoga instructor of the year Ian Lemieux for this unique day of fitness with breathtaking views of Boston from beautiful Spectacle Island. Fitness programming including coached running, bootcamp and yoga classes will run simultaneously between 11 and 2. 

Meet us a the Boston Harbor Islands Welcome Center on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to pick up your tickets. Tickets will be available for pick up starting at 9:00 am. Guests can choose between the 9:30, 10:15 or 10:30 am ferries to Spectacle Island. Guests must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to ferry departure. Late comers may forefeit their tickets.

Ferries depart from Spectacle at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:00 pm. Return trips will be first come, first serve (but don't fret, no one gets left on the island!)  

Tickets price includes day of fitness, round trip ferry ticket and souvenir. All participants will also recieve $5.00 off of Public Body's annual event SEXY SUMMIT: A Day of Fitness, Fun and Fabulousness on Spectacle Island. Code will be emailed directly.

Work Hard Play Hard Weekend will sell out very quickly! That can all be yours! WORK HARD, PLAY HARD WEEKEND IS BACK with Public Body's Chad Flahive and special guest trainer Maryanne Blake. They'll take you through a mercilessly awesome weekend of serious fitness sprinkled with some debauchery in beautiful Provincetown, MA.

Three days in PTown, and we promise your workouts will never be the same! You'll be pounding the beach, blazing through bike trails, sweating under the club lights, stretching poolside and relaxing a bit by the bright blue sea!

Join Public Body spitfire Maryanne Blake for a one hour, outdoor bootcamp!  100% of your donation for participating will go directly to Best Buddies International. It will be a great morning, a great workout for a great cause!  We hope that you can join us! Here's what Maryanne has to say about her experience with Best Buddies! 

On June 4,  I will participate in the Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port – a bike, run or walk event in support of Best Buddies International. I chose to ride for Best Buddies because the funds I raise will directly affect the lives of those living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies is a non-profit organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver in 1989, dedicated to helping people with intellectual disabilities form friendships and find jobs in their community. The Best Buddies Challenge events are a strong symbol of the lasting friendships and open community that Best Buddies fosters throughout their programs.

I am so excited to participate in the Best Buddies Challenge! With each day, I train harder and longer. With each dollar you donate, you bring me one more mile closer to my goal. Thank you in advance for your generous support!

Well it's that time of year again. The days get longer. The sun shines brighter (FINALLY!), We long for explosive, outrageous fitness love and a kick-ass time with other hot and awesome human beings. This can only mean one thing...PUBLIC BODY is back for the spring and summer! We're super excited about it so we've put together a delicious workout for you. The best part? It is zip, zilch, zero...FREE. So join us for this fab workout brought to you by Heartbreak Hill Running Company and PUBLIC BODY.  We'll take you through a series of plyometric and agility drills and then finish you off with a yummy strength and conditioning circuit that will make you long for...a party!  On wait, there's one of those too. After the workout, our friends at Sister Sorrel are closing down for a private party just for us! If you've never tried PUBLIC BODY, well, now is the time to check it out!

So Join Chad, Dan and the Public Body team at Heartbreak Hill Running Company at 6:30 PM on May 2nd. From there, we'll head to the park for our fitness extravaganza and then convene at Sister Sorrel.

Join Public Body trainers Ian Kilpatrick, Maryanne Blake and Chad Flahive for an outdoor workout to support Ian Kilpatrick's Boston Marathon fundraising team. Spring is just around the bend and we're super excited to get outside with you for a Public Body workout to support a great cause that is near and dear to Ian. Check out his story below.

Public Body trainer Ian Kilpatrick has been the Director of Fitness Programming at The Brookline Teen Center for several years.  At BTC he has seen first hand the direct and positive impact a simple physical accomplishment can have on a teenager.  He has seen a depressed teen turn into a Spartan leader within a 45 minute workout and a frustrated, sad teen unable to accomplish anything climb over a 8 foot wall and immediately transform his outloook on life!.  

Moments like these inspired Ian to run 26.2 this April.  The Brookline Teen Center is a not for profit organization often overlooked becasue of its location, but nonethelss there are at risk teens in all towns that need places like the BTC. Ian says, "I am extremely grateful to say I will literally get to witness the positive impact your donation will have on the teens of this community, and when that happens I promise to pass the story along!"

Participants should meet at Boston's premier running store Heartbreak Hill Running Company at 10:30 am. From there, we'll head out to the parks for our workout!

Our original Club Circuit sold out in days, so it's is back, and this time BIGGER and HARDER! Get hot and awesome with Public Body creator Chad Flahive as he takes you through a mercilessly awesome bootcamp circuit in the club! Sculpt your body and shred hundreds of calories under the pulsing lights while live tunes spin at one of Boston's hottest clubs!  Sweat, burn, drop an F bomb or two, and then have a mimosa .... or two! (You will have earned them)

After the workout, you can choose to join your fellow Public Body rockstars for a hot and awesome recovery brunch! (optional) You will not be disappointed by the workout...or the ridiculously yummy brunch!
